CAIRO CONNECTION

Many Airlines flying from the Southern Hemisphere to Europe and America offer flyers tom connect via Egypt. At times these connection flights are lengthy stopovers. This tour is a perfect way to catching a glimpse of Africa’s largest city and of course – The Great Pyramids of Giza. For most national ities, entry visas into Egypt are obtained from the Cairo International Airport and costs are minimal. Many countries’ residents obtain their visas free of charge. Choose from two options, Cairo or Suez.

OPTION 1: CAIRO AT A GLANCE
We firstly visit the Great Pyramids of Giza. The great Sphinx stands at the foot of the pyramids with all its glory and intrigue. Time willing, hop on a camel and take priceless photos of the Pyramids in the background.

Leaving the sand dunes behind for the highest point in Cairo where the Citadel stands. This is where you will get up close and personal with the Mohammed Ali Mosque – one of the most famous mosques in the entire world. From here, on a clear day, you can spot the three Pyramids of Giza. If hazy, at least you will meet Cairo from border to border.

Truly the largest city in Africa. Time willing, we will visit a papyrus museum to purchase genuine papyrus artwork. Across the road we could even smell some locally manufactured oilbased perfumes with blends unique to Egypt. Last but not least, to seal your short Egyptian experience, a walk through the old and traditional shops and streets of the oldest souq in the Middle East – Khan El-Khalili bazaar.

This souq alone will be enough to fill your mind and heart with fond memories of Cairo. We transfer you back to the Cairo International Airport and assist you through customs wishing you a safe journey to your next destination.
OPTION 2: LUNCH ALONG THE SUEZ CANAL
A one-hour (1:30hrs max) drive from Cairo lays the Suez Canal. The canal is the man-made object that can be seen from furthest out in space (not the Great Wall of China as has been previously thought).

The Suez Canal Bridge, also called the Egyptian-Japanese Friendship Bridge, at El Qantara, is where we will stop for a delicious seafood lunch. This area is renowned for top quality seafood and from here you will catch a glimpse of this very important
and well known canal.

After tantalizing your taste buds with some of Egypt’s finest cuisine, we return to Cairo where we will transfer you back to Cairo International Airport and assist you through customs. Have a safe journey.
